intimate america: lori

Everything else I freak out or have anxiety about, but I was 100% fine if they said I have cancer.  I was not scared at all.

They found pre-cancerous cells on my uterus, not ovarian cancer.  If I didn’t get it taken care of, it could have developed into cancer. I had surgery twice, once in July, once in August.

Even though I wasn’t diagnosed with cancer, it was a wakeup call. It kind of made me realize that what I want to do in my life is help other people.

I want to make a life of helping others.
